Special Activities
Saint James School has many Community Building events throughout the school year. We also engage in many field trips that offer parents opportunities to accompany our students. A few of the many events we come together for every year include a Halloween Carnival, Santa’s Workshop, Spaghetti Dinner/Talent Show, Pancake Breakfast, and International Potluck.
In the fall of 2008 we were fortunate to take an All School Field Trip to the Grand Opening of the California Academy of Sciences. Field trips include The Tech Museum in San Jose, State Capitol and Railroad Museum in Sacramento, Oakland Museum, Marine Institute’s Discovery Voyage, SF Zoo, Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park and many more.
Several times a year the youth of our school
can let their spirit shine through School Spirit Days.
Themes range from Crazy Clothes,
Pajama Day, Black and White Day (In honor of the Dominican Order).
