"The teachers and staff strive to enable children to have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept, and embrace the differences between each other." |

My role as a teacher is to create an environment where a student can learn what is meaningful and relevant to one’s life and interests and to also provide an atmosphere that fosters a passion to become a lifelong learner.
I believe that each child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. As a teacher at St. James for 11 years, I believe children develop their potential by believing in themselves as capable individuals. My classroom is a learning-centered classroom where students can develop knowledge and skills through their own learning styles.
