I have been teaching at St. James School for over twenty-five years. My years at St. James have been both rewarding and enriching. The children, faculty, and staff work as a team to ensure St. James is a compassionate, giving, fun, and safe learning environment.

Over the years, I have come to realize that every child is unique and learns in his or her own special way. To educate effectively, a teacher must be concerned with the formation of the whole child. I strongly believe that all children can and will learn if they are valued and respected.

I encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and to develop a pride for their own work. By implementing motivational elements in the classroom, a true passion for learning is fostered.

I work to enable them to reach their personal potential. One of the most important concepts I hope to impart with the students is that learning is a process that never ends.
